In 2008, more than 200,000 women and men will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 40,000 will lose their lives to the disease. This year, Carrie and Jason joined thousands of other women and men walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day, a 60-mile journey of hope, inspiration, and personal growth. This was Carrie's second year walking the 3-Day. In 2007, Carrie raised over $3,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In 2008, Carrie and Jason, walking together, raised over $4,400 to help find a cure for breast cancer. In 2009, we hope to raise over $5,000! Carrie and Jason are members of The Cup Crusaders, a great group of gals and guys who are dedicated to ending breast cancer forever. We hope that you will join us in helping find a cure for this most terrible disease. |
